When your final design (PDF, JPG) is exported the size for 30×30 book should be 30,6 x 60,6 meaning a 3mm bleed on every side.
You should never go through the middle and you need to leave at least 2 cm border around photos on all sides of each page.
We prefer to have a PDF since it is one file and it give little to no possibilities to mix the spreads order, but we of course accept spreads as well but a little more caution in naming the files is needed.
You should always name them in the correct order starting with oo1, 002. After the number, write the year, name of the order, your name, the name of the book and the project name.
No, we do not need your photos.
If you have ordered a 30×30 book, the real size is 30cm x 60cm, but you need to add 3mm to every side so the final size for printing is 30,6 cm x 60,6 cm.
Designing Viva is very simple, the photos should not cross the middle and Viva needs at least 2 cm safe zone on each page in which you should not have any photos.
If a duplicate is the same size as the original (main) book you do not need to do anything, one file is enough. If the duplicate is smaller please upload the smaller size as well.

Custom Design Service
- You will be able to upload your photos to a folder which we will share with you
- Please name the photos in sequential order (001, 002, 003, etc)
- You may choose to upload between 40 and 180 photos depending on the number of spreads of your book. For optimal design we use approximately 2,5 photos per spread
- One-time possibility of corrections free of charge
- Additional design changes after or major design alterations (more than 20% of the design) are charged
Yes, we can do that, just send us the text and also the font you wish to use.
In our studio we love simple design and we will try to design it according to our aesthetic liking. We have never used any additional shading or blurring.
No, you have to send us photos that you have already edit.
We need them named in sequential order and we need them in sRGB space with a 300 dpi. More info here.
